Jody Gastfriend, LICSW is a Principal at Health Management Associates, one of the leading health care consulting and research firms in the U.S. She was formerly Vice President of Senior Care for Care.com, the world’s largest online destination for finding and managing family care. As a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience in senior care, Jody knows the challenges of family caregivers, having helped manage the care of her own parent with dementia for more than a decade.

Jody has held a wide range of leadership positions including Director of Social Service in a community hospital, Chief Operating Officer of a home care agency, and consultant to hospitals, long-term care facilities, and employers.
